Atascocita grew fast around Lake Houston, and most of the homes are from that growth — solid suburban houses in Eagle Springs, Walden, Fall Creek and the subdivisions off FM 1960. The front doors are almost all original builder units, and they are the weak point on an otherwise nice house.
An iron door is the upgrade that lands hardest here for the money. It changes the whole face of the house, and on the lake side it stands up to the humidity far better than the wood-veneer door it replaces.
We seal everything for the damp air coming off the water: treated steel, baked powder coat, and glazing lines that do not let moisture creep behind the glass. The door looks like a custom-home entry and is built to stay that way.
