Winnie is a small crossroads town in the rice country near the upper coast, surrounded by farmland and acreage. It is the far eastern edge of where we travel, and the work is mostly gates and sturdy front doors.
Near the coast and out in the open, both salt and sun are factors, so everything is built on treated steel, sealed under a baked powder coat, with hardware spec to match. That is what lets a gate or a door last out here.
